Vernal Equinox

The spring or vernal equinox ("Equi" is the Latin prefix for "equal" and "nox" is the Latin word for "night") arrived on March 20 at 12:30 am eastern time. That was when the sun was shining directly on the Earth's equator, bringing almost the same exact amount of daylight and darkness all around the world on that day. W.D. Gann, the famous, early 20th century, Texas technician claimed that the vernal equinox was one of the most important dates of the year for both world events and the stock market.

If Monday's high was the high we were looking for it was obviously a week late. While not proud of a signal that is a week early or late, it is close enough that I consider it to be a success (within the margin of error). Perhaps I should have known it would be late given that both option expiration and the vernal equinox were due the following week.
