Bin Laden

To date, this will be the third installment of this series we have published. We may do one or two more in coming weeks.

These are installments of an extraordinarily fascinating series originally done by 13D Research, Inc. (Boca Raton, FL and Ketchum, ID). It was written in 2001 -- started before 9/11 -- and was authored under the umbrella title of, "The World's Greatest Threat: Islamic Fundamentalists." The current offering is entitled, "Bin Laden."

We extend our sincere thanks to friend, client and 13D president, Kiril Sokoloff, for granting his permission to republish this excellent, highly prescient material. For those not familiar with the firm's work, you will see why it is so highly regarded after reading the articles referenced here. Also, be sure to visit the firm's website at 13D Research, Inc.

Like the prior two pieces we've run already, the current offering (published on 10/22/01) has withstood the test of time exceptionally well, as you will see as you read it. In some respects, this series makes better reading now, almost three years after the fact, than it did in the immediate, highly emotional proximity to 9/11. (NOTE: Not all the views expressed in this material necessarily reflect those of Gillespie Research Associates.)

If you did not read the first two installments but wish to, go to the Gillespie Research Website home page, where they are posted in the "Guest Contributions" section (lower right-hand column). They are dated 8/5 and 7/27. In addition, in the same location on the home page you will find a piece entitled, "What I Learned This Week" (dated 4/29). Kiril Sokoloff writes and publishes "WILTW" as a key component of 13D's overall product, and the publication is a treasure trove of intriguing, diverse material. You will find the edition posted on the website very interesting.

Now, access and enjoy, "Bin Laden"(pdf) from the 13D series, "The World's Greatest Threat: Islamic Fundamentalists".
