The Weekend Vigilante November 2nd, 2012

Hello from Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic!

Welcome to the final Weekend Vigilante before the upcoming US criminal popularity contest! It's important that we mention this now because so much could change by the next time we talk. Like, maybe there might be a 100% white guy at the controls of the nukes next week rather than a 50% white guy.

It's times like these that I am so glad I am nowhere near a public flat screen TV in the US and see the kind of propaganda that most in the USSA are forced to gulp down. This little girl encompasses my feelings so much on the matter that I am looking into adopting her.

As I mentioned earlier this week, in "Remember, Remember the Sixth of November", what happens in the coming week doesn't really matter except to those who live in a few countries which each candidate seems to have a hard-on to bomb. But as a last comment on it, here is a video from Luke Rudkowski. I met Luke at Porcfest a few months ago and, as with most liberty-minded truth-seekrs, he is an upstanding individual. He went onto the streets of New York and interviewed young, bespectacled "liberals" and famous people like Iron Man to ask them what they thought about Romney's horrendous policies. Of course, they were totally against them. The catch was that the policies Luke was asking about are Obama's policies.

Obamney, Robama? What are these two sick, narcissistic fools talking about? How can they keep talking every day and not say anything? And how long will people listen? If you are considering voting... and if so, shame on you... or know anyone else who participates in this criminal system, watch this video from Larken Rose first or send to your friends:

But, let's talk about something actually important. Let's talk about life outside of the new Rome, the USSA and the western world and all the slaves who have been brainwashed.

The View From The DR

As mentioned above, I have been in the Dominican Republic for the last week... working on some things for TDV Passports (an exciting new less expensive expedited passport program - call our guys next week for more or subscribe to TDV to hear the news first). The DR, possibly above all, seems to be a dating organization for older white Italian men who would like to spend a few of their final days with a large bottle of Presidente beer and a big-bootied black Dominican. Not so much in Santo Domingo, but from what I've seen of Las Terrenas so far and my past experiences in places like Boca Chica, that certainly seems to be the case.

Aside from that, though, it's just a pleasure to be outside of that western mindset. Life here seems to go on very anarchically. It's not pure anarchy, sadly. But I can all but guarantee you that of the people I meet riding their bikes... or horse... or motorbikes without headlights down dark highways, that if you were to ask them if they were aware of the coming US election, not one in a thousand would even have any clue of what you are talking about.

As I watch some of the US media diabtribe about the need for a socialized medical system I make this one note. My wife, who apparently had a fairly typical night out in Acapulco (two bottles of scotch for three girls each weighing in under 110 pounds) on my last trip to the US, has been complaining of a lot of discomfort and even being ill regularly. We rolled into Las Terranas and asked the woman at hotel reception where she could find a doctor to give her a consulation. Within 30 minutes an intelligent, nice gentleman doctor arrived at our room and gave her a full consultation. They spent about 30 minutes and after a number of tests he concluded that she had some sort of alcohol-based gastritis from her adventure out on the town in Acapulco. He administered her a shot and wrote out a prescription. We then asked how much it would be for the house call and medicine. $80.

Not bad. Try that in the USSA. She'd likely have to spend hours in an emergency room with people bleeding all over her and end up with a bill for thousands of dollars for the same service. Zombified, publicly edumacated Romney or Obama supporters would claim this is a case for government run medicine. None of them, however, can explain how a medical system can be improved by stealing from everyone, destroying most of it in bureaucracy and then giving the remainder for everyone to fight over.

Until we all start acting like ants, something I see no evidence of occurring in the near term, socialized, centrally planned anything is nothing but a pipe dream with no evidence in human history of ever having provided a service better than the free market can. The catch is, an actual"free market", is something that exists less now in the USSA than almost any other geographic region on Earth.

Government versus Beavers

Thanks to TDV subscriber Bill S. for forwarding the following:

This is an actual letter: State of Michigan's letter to a man named Mr. DeVries:

STATE OF MICHIGAN
Reply to: GRAND RAPIDS DISTRICT OFFICE STATE OFFICE BUILDING 6TH FLOOR

JOHN ENGLER, Governor
DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY

CERTIFIED

Mr. Ryan DeVris 2088 Dagget Pieron, MI 49339

Dear Mr. DeVries:

SUBJECT: DEQ File No. 97-59-0023-1 T11N, R10W, Sec. 20, Montcalm County

It has come to the attention of the Department of Environmental Quality that there has been recent unauthorized activity on the above referenced parcel of property. You have been certified as the legal landowner and/or contractor who did the following unauthorized activity:

Construction and maintenance of two wood debris dams across the outlet stream of Spring Pond. A permit must be issued prior to the start of this type of activity. A review of the Department's files shows that no permits have been issued.

Therefore, the Department has determined that this activity is in violation of Part 301, Inland Lakes and Streams, of the Natural Resource and Environmental Protection Act, Act 451 of the Public Acts of 1994, being sections 324.30101 to 324.30113 of the Michigan Compiled Laws, annotated.

The Department has been informed that one or both of the dams partially failed during a recent rain event, causing debris and flooding at downstream locations.. We find that dams of this nature are inherently hazardous and cannot be permitted. The Department therefore orders you to cease and desist all activities at this location, and to restore the stream to a free-flow condition by removing all wood and brush forming the dams from the stream channel. All restoration work shall be completed no later than January 31, 1998. Please notify this office when the restoration has been completed so that a follow-up site inspection may be scheduled by our staff. Failure to comply with this request or any further unauthorized activity on the site may result in this case being referred for elevated enforcement action. We anticipate and would appreciate your full cooperation in this matter. Please feel free to contact me at this office if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

David L. Price

District Representative and Water Management Division.

Here is the actual response sent back from the actual property owner (who wasn't Mr. DeVries):

Re: DEQ File

No.. 97-59-0023; T11N; R10W, Sec. 20; Montcalm County

Dear Mr. Price,

Your certified letter dated 12/17/97 has been handed to me to respond to. You sent out a great deal of carbon copies to a lot of people, but you neglected to include their addresses. You will, therefore, have to send them a copy of my response.

First of all, Mr. Ryan DeVries is no the legal landowner and/or contractor at 2088 Dagget, Pierson, Michigan - I am the legan owner and a couple of beavers are in the (State unauthorized) process of constructing and maintaining two wood "debris" dams across the outlet stream of my Spring Pond. While I did not pay for, nor authorize, their dam project, I think they would be highly offended that you call their skillful use of natures building materials "debris." I would like to challenge your department to attempt to emulate their dam project any time and/or any place you choose. I believe I can safely state there is no way you could ever match their dam skills, their dam resourcefulness, their dam ingenuity, their dam persistence, their dam determination and/or their dam work ethic.

As to your dam request the beavers first must fill out a dam permit prior to the start of this type of dam activity, my first dam question to you is: are you trying to discriminate against my Spring Pond Beavers or do require all dam beavers throughout this State to confirm to said dam request? If you are not discriminating against these particular beavers, through the Freedom of Information Act, I request completed copies of all those other applicable beaver dam permits that have been issued. (Perhaps we will see if there really is a dam violation of Part 301, Inland Lakes and Streams, of the Natural Resource and Environmental Protection Act, Act 451 of the Public Acts of 1994, being sections 324.30101 to 324.30113 of the Michigan Compiled Laws, annotated.)

My first dam concern is, aren't the beavers entitled to legal representation? The Spring Pond Beavers are financially destitute and are unable to pay for said representation -- so the State will have to provide them with a dam lawyer. The Department's dam concern that either one or both of the dams failed during a recent rain event, causing flooding, is proof that this is a natural occurrence, which the Department is required to protect. In other words, we should leave the Spring Pond Beavers alone rather than harassing them and calling them dam names. If you want the damed stream "restored" to a dam free-flow condition, contact the dam beavers -- but if you are going to arrest them (they obviously did not pay any attention to your dam letter - being unable to read English) -- be sure you read them their dam Miranda rights first.

As for me, I am not going to casue more dam flooding or dam debris jams by interfering with these dam builders. If you want to hurt these damn beavers -- be aware I am sending a copy of your dam letter and this response to PETA. If your dam Department seriously finds all dams of this nature inherently hazardous and truly will not permit their existence in the dam State -- I seriously hope you are not selectively enforcing this dam policy, or once again both I and the Spring Pond Beavers will sream prejudice!

In my humble opinion, the Spring Pond Beavers have a right to build their unauthorized dams as long as the sky is blue, the grass is green and water flows downstream. They have more dam rights than I do to live and enjoy Spring Pond. If the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection lives up to its name, it should protect the natural resources (Beavers) and the environment (Beavers' Dams). So, as far as the beavers and I are concerned, this dam case can be referred for more elevated enforcement action right now. Why wait until 1/31/98? The Spring Pond Beavers may be under the dam ice by then and there will be no way for you or your dam staff to contact/harass them.

In conclusion, I would like to bring to your attention to a real environmental quality (health) problem: bears are actually defecating in our woods. I definitely believe you should be persecuting the defecating bears and leave the beavers alone. If you are going to investigate the beaver dam, watch your dam step! (The bears are not careful where they dump!)

Being unable to comply with your dam request, and being unable to contact you on your dam office.

Sincerely,
Stephen L. Tveldten

TDV Video of the Week

Here is an excellent, relaxed conversation I had at Libertopia with Future Money Trends.

Until Next week

Today I am heading up to Cabrera to meet with our TDV Group concierge there, Barry (TDV subscribers can see the Cabrera TDV Group here - note we'll have a Las Terrenas TDV Group set-up in the coming week after my meeting with Terry here today). And then, on Monday, I'll likely be heading down to Santiago Chile for the final closing of our property there. Until next week, when we find out who the new crime boss will be. No matter who it is, we'll meet the new boss, same as the old boss. It looks like it'll be O'bomber anyway... CBS already announced the results, by accident. Whoops!
