Forecasting to Insure Profits

I began Forecasting many, many years ago. Upon coming out of retirement in 2007 this focus has become a daily routine. I began publishing my Forecasting here in SafeHaven.com in 2011.

Forecasting is quite simple once you do it over and over again for many years. Being consistently profitable begins with Accurate Forecasting and Analytic Procedures, then it requires Well Honed: Fundamental - Valuation, Technical - Analytics and Consensus - Opinion. When you add my Confirmation work, it ends with Profitable Results. (F / C = PR)

Forecasts

My most recent articles have been posted here in SafeHaven.com are: AAPL, BAC, F, GE, GOOG, INTC. (To view my 20-Year Charts of the above symbols - Click on the Symbol).

You might want to re-read my articles for the Accuracy of all my Forecasts of all of these Companies. The above (F / C = PR) is as Accurate and Profitable - formula as anything you will find in the financial blogs you may be reading. Try me!

My near-term and longer-term Forecast for any of the above Companies or for that matter any Company or ETF on the planet goes through a process the gives a "heads-up" or leading picture of those securities that I call: Candidates for Buying (C4Bs) and Candidates for Shorting (C4Ss). On a daily basis I simple research and do my analytics on a number of securities. It is kind of like going fishing, sometimes you come home empty and sometimes you catch or limit or a Big One! I simple add those that appear to be future "Candidates" - Bullish or Bearish to my two Lists.

Buy / Sell / Hold

In the process of Accurate Forecasting, for me is a one-two-three proposition. The Old - Buy / Sell / Hold - Question is alive and well.

Buy, Sell or Hold

My current and I believe correct answer to the question of Buy / Sell / Hold for any security can be placed in my Report Card format. Google, Inc. is: Definitely -- Hold with an Initial "Warning" in Place...

The Professors - Report Card on: (any Company / ETF on the Planet)

Example:

Company / ETF Symbol Fundamental -
Weighting (40%)
Technical -
Weighting (35%)
Consensus Opinion -
Weighting (25%)
Report Card -
Grade & Direction:

(0 - 100 / A - F) -- Ascending
- Status Quo - Descending
Name and (Symbol) Opinion --
Comment:
Example: My Valuation for Google is quite negative. The longer-term down-side is over 20%. Earnings growth is consolidating for the next few years.
Opinion --
Comment:
Example: My Technical Analytics is also quite negative. I would recommend selling on what may be a near-term bounce-rally.
Opinion --
Comment:
Example: Consensus is always overly optimistic. It is a poor but necessary guide to Investing your money Wisely.
Example:
70 / C --- Descending.

My weighted Fundamental, Technical and Consensus Opinion ratings range from Excellent to Very Poor. Grades below 90 / A are not current (never are) candidates for buying. Grades above 60 / F are not current (never are) candidates for short selling. Information and data are ever changing, so be alert. Every companies "Grade" can from a neutral grade (60 to 90 / D to B) to a buy (greater than 90) or short sale (less than 60) in a very short time.

The twenty-year chart is offered to give you a perspective. "Perspective" is yet another tool for making money that is seldom employed.

My article here in SafeHaven.com on "My Rotation Model" supports the above notes. (click here).
