Another Clinton Scandal

Presidential contender, Hillary Clinton, is again being visited by scandal. Her personal files while at the Rose law firm in Arkansas conveniently disappeared and then re-appeared once safely in the White House.

But this week's scandal is about her files while Secretary of State that were cracked by a hacker named "Guccifer". This week's revelation in The New York Times could be trying to get the story out and forgotten in time to get back into the White House. Mainstream Media will be understanding and sympathetic, while soft-pedaling the demands of the law.

Last week's Pivot included a brief piece on the other scandal of raising funds for the Clinton Foundation while she was Secretary of State.

The Clintons' ability to raise money for their "foundation" has been remarkable. Last week's story about corporate "donations" as well as those from foreign governments or agencies could be scandalous. For any other political name it would be - let's mark it as interesting.

Some headlines convey the story:

"Family charities collected donations from companies she promoted as secretary of state."

- Wall Street Journal, February 19.

"Clinton's Foundation Has Raised Nearly $2 Billion"

- The Washington Post, February 18.

The latter story included:

"The Post review of foundation data...found substantial overlap between the Clinton political machinery and the foundation. Many of the biggest doners are foreigners who are legally barred from giving to U.S. political candidates. A third of foundation doners who have given more than $1 million are foreign governments."

"It is a Global Pillage"

- Hillary Rodham Clinton
