What is Happening with The NYA Index?

Today's chart shows our MACD for the NYA Index. In spite of the weakness in the last 7 trading days, the MACD was still in positive territory while showing down trending.

If you look at the MACD trending since March 16th, you can see the the MACD has made higher/lows and higher/highs ... the definition of up trending. So now, as long as the MACD doesn't make a lower/low, then the trend will remain in an upward condition.
