Gann's Master Time Factor Applied

June 6th will mark the 134th anniversary of the birth of the legendary traderW. D. Gann (1878 - 1955).

Despite the fact that he left behind several books on trading and, literally, a truckload of market related materials, his methods remain to this day surrounded by mystery and skepticism. This is in part due to his writing style, and his belief that students of his work shouldn't be spoon-fed all the knowledge he possessed, but should prove themselves worthy of it by workinghard to decipher the hidden meaning he was encoding in his writings.

One of the many contributions to market analysis Gann is credited with is his Master Time Factor (MTF). The chart below shows that more than a century after it's discovery by Gann, the MTF is still capable of producing near perfect market forecasts:

Master Time Factor versus Dow

You can read more about this fascinating tool, and what it is forecasting about the markets and the U.S. presidential election in my new book: Gann Master Time Factor Applied.
