China Influence On America?

Why Read: For a summary of U.S. economic-related things, that while somewhat repetitive, likely incomplete, and all or in part known by you providesa great deal of 'food for thought' in one place.

Featured Article: An undated blog article sets out what it calls '45 Signs That China Is Colonizing America'. It includes reference to such things as:

  • U.S. net trade deficits;

  • the U.S. Federal Reserve's recent decision to enable Chinese Banks to buy positions in U.S. banks; and,

  • Chinese investments in U.S. property, treasury bills, and 'you name it'.

Commentary: None of what is in set out in the article should be particularly new to you in an overview context. Some of the detail, which we have not separately validated, may be. That said, it represents a good 'refresher course' in what has transpired and is transpiring in America vis a vis China. Hence this article is worth reading and thinking about.
