The Value Proposition

High Touch Work: This is work where most of the value is in human interactions. This includes psychotherapy, service in fine-dining restaurants, helping elderly people, running a farmers market, etc.

Problem Solving Work: Computer programs can only solve known problems, i.e. problems where the solution is already known and can be broken down into processes that can be performed by software or machines.

Value Creation Work: Doing work that cannot be broken into programmable processes.


Hybrid Ownership

Also discussed are new collaboration models which are allowing work to operate globally.
