To maintain a little perspective, check out the yearly chart of gold, courtesy of Bigcharts.com (Stockcharts.com is still experiencing a server glitch this morning). As you know, I will not cheer lead and do not consider myself a card-carrying gold bug because that might require strict guidelines. But financially, I am an honesty bug and I have seen nothing of late that makes me anything other than bullish in the big picture. It is time to consider macro-fundamentals above everything else, but technically things remain ship shape as well.
