Biography
Frank Knopers has studied Business Administration at the University of Twente in Enschede and obtained a Master degree in Financial Management with his research on the effectiveness of value investing in the Netherlands. This study received a Hoofbosch thesis prize in 2014.
Since the outbreak of the financial crisis, Frank started studying the monetary system and started to write about it at Marketupdate. Later, his field of interest expanded from economic and monetary affairs to geopolitical developments related to this.
Frank has published articles and analysis for various gold dealers. He was also interviewed by the Financieele Dagblad and a Dutch radio programme. In May 2017 Frank launched Geotrendlines as a new platform to write about the transition in money and geopolitics and to share his thoughts on the most important trends in this area.
